This is a gorgeous buckle done in elaborate Victorian design with a center amethyst glass stone. The buckle measures 4-3/4 x 1-1/2". I am not sure whether there was another piece to this or not. Fantastic Victorian Figural Buckle

Fantastic Victorian buckle is 2 x 3-1/4" and features a laughing? face on the front. The buckle itself is goldtone, probably brass and is beautifully engraved with all sorts or curliques and flowers which makes me think maybe Art Nouveau'ish end of the Victorian era.
