Item Description:
This charming Victorian black glass mourning bow is textured with a beaded edge, and raised center knot. Triangular sections of each side of the bow have raised relief floral decoration against a matt background which contrasts beautifully with the shiny black glass. The bow measures a generous 2-5/8" X 3/4". It has a very old-looking embedded safety-pin-type C-clasp. Although there are a couple of rough edge nicks on the reverse of the glass which can hardly be seen and may actually have come from the mold, the pin is in otherwise Excellent Condition. This would be a fabulous fashion accessory at the throat of a white shirt collar or a round necked shirt or blouse. A great piece!
