| This is an adorable talcum powder tin in sterling silver by F&B Company # 4199. It is 2-1/2" high x 1-1/2" wide and is actually useable ! Has a slide lock on the top to keep the container closed when not in use. This is an estate piece and does carry a monogram, fancy, can't tell the letters though.....There is one small dent in the back upper left shoulder of the tin. Easily pressed out. I believe the F&B Company is Foster & Baily and an early mark. The firm was active from 1873 through about 1950. | ||
