FANTASTICA BARBIE #3196. Pace 1992 FANTASTICA BARBIE wears an authentic Mexican dance dress in the style of the Tapatia dancers of Mexico. Que` Fantastica fiesta! She is a dark eyed beauty with long brunette hair. The doll has bent arms, bendable knees and a twist waist. She is the first Barbie doll to use the beautiful new 1992 Teresa doll head mold. Her embroidered white dress has full puff sleeves and a full gathered skirt with a lace and ribbon trimmed ruffle at the hemline. Her large earrings are in a filigree design, red beads encircle her neck and a “diamond” ring on her finger. Large red fabric roses trim the top of her head. The doll is holding a large scarf with red edging, in her hand. Mint in the Box, however, the cellophane at the top is indented slightly and the top of the box has a slight tear.
