This brooch, at 2 1/2" x 4", is a show stopper! 1940's and unmarked, this is a beauty! The center two inches is comprised of three pave set clear rhinestone flowers. Each petal is beautifully detailed, and surrounded by gold tone leaves. Rising for a full 1 1/2" from the center flowers are two sprays of red crystals tipped with bezel set clear rhinestones. All are set in gold vermeil. As you can see from the back, the red crystals are open set so the light can show through, adding beauty and making them seem to come alive. This piece is absolutely stunning on the lapel of a jacket or coat, and is the finishing touch to any outfit from office to an evening at the theatre.
