Miriam Haskell Brooch Pin - Beaded Early 1950's

This beautiful Miriam Haskell brooch is so elegant!

It measures 1-3/4"in diameter and resembles a lovely stylized flower.  Each petal consists of rows of cream glass beads with a brass-braided center.  A large cream glass cabochon forms the center of the flower and is encased in hand set delicate fleur de lis prongs with an additional brass fleur de lis that overlay the petals at their base.  All is wired to a brass backing which is then attached to a floral and fleur de lis filigree cover plate backing.

The "Miriam Haskell"  cartouche is attached to the back. 

This brooch will make a beautiful to addition to any wardrobe.  Elegant and understated for the boardroom, a night at the theatre or that special occasion...what a special piece as "something old" for the bride!
