Item Description: |
Lovely decorated sterling silver low compote with two handles. Heavily decorated around rim and inside shallow bowl; has beautifully fashioned open-work handles. Marked "Sterling 3877" and has only a maker's mark that I cannot identify. Patent date of Dec. 23, 1919. The photos show the fine detail. The piece is in excellent condition, no dents. Weighs over 14 ounces (base not weighted). Measures 9 and 7/8 inches in diameter, excluding handles; 1 and 5/8 inches high. Free domestic shipping. |
