Christmas tree pin of a newer vintage is made of Swarovski rhinestones of the highest quality with expert craftsmanship. Although unsigned, this is perhaps one of the highest quality, newer vintage Christmas tree pins we have seen and may be an unsigned prototype by Swarovsi. The construction is very unusual. The tree is closed back, but the treetop star is open backed. There are two layers of glorious of pear-shaped rhinestones of graduated sizes with smaller round rhinestone "ornaments" along the edges of the tree in fuchsia, orange, red, teal and lavender. The tree top star is a clear rhinestone, cut in a fancy, five-pointed star shape and the tree is finished with a topaz colored rhinestone pave on the trunk of the tree. The tree measures approximately 1-5/8 x 1-1/4" and has a safety closure. In beautifully plated gold tone metal, this wonderful, diminutive Christmas tree pin is perfect for a suit jacket or uniform to wear on your lapel every day.
