Boucher Set: Vintage Boucher Rhinestone Necklace Earrings

Gorgeous vintage Boucher rhodium and sparkling crystal roundstone and baguette loopy bow necklace shows the elegant Boucher design sense. It is easy to understand why Boucher designed for Cartier, among others, and this necklace could just as easily have been precious metal and diamonds and probably would not have been better crafted or more lovely. The necklace is adjustable to 16" with the original extender which is finished with a tiny pear-shaped, prong-set rhinestone. The central focus of the necklace measures approximately one inch in width. The extender can be removed to make the necklace as small as 14". The effect of these high quality stones against heavy rhodium is almost blindingly bright. The necklace is signed "Boucher" with a copyright symbol and the numbers 6015. The matching earrings are a design that is quite clever and unusual. They have a decorative channel set baguette ribbon end attached to the clip of the earring to show out from the back of the lobe and then another decorative ribbon end coming through the knot at the center to give the impression that the loop goes right through the ear. One earring is signed "Boucher", impressed into the metal of the reverse of the earring and the other has #5586 impressed into the metal. The earrings measure approximately 1-1/4 x 1-1/4". The clips are secure with lots of snap. This is truly an heirloom vintage Boucher set that is very special and would be special enough for a wedding or some other most important occasion. So tasteful, it could be worn with a black suit as well.
