Hummel -- Be Patient Figurine

The geese are hungry and therefore "Be Patient" at feeding time.  Suggested retail for a new piece is $250.  This mark is Bee over V Goebel, W. First modeled by master sculptor Reinhold Unger in 1948. Originally only one size with the 197. In the 1950's, a smaller size was issued with the number 197 2/0. At the same time the large size was changed to 197/l. Old name: "Mother of Ducks".

This geniune M.I. Hummel product is an original work of art created by Goeble Master Artists (this by Helmut Fischer), and based on the drawings of Sister Maria Innocentia Hummel.  It is handcrafted and handpainted according to the tradtions of artistic excellence established by W. Goebel Porzellanfabrik, Germany, more than a century ago.  Only a genuine M.I. Hummel product bears the Goebel backstamp adn the signature of Maria Innocentia Hummel. We have the box and certificate.
