An astonishingly beautiful and romantic Victorian look that we can only describe (in the most complimentary way!) as "drippy" :) In the early 20th Century wide chokers referred to as "colliers de chien" (dog collars)were intended to play up fashion's revealing bodices of the day. The "resille" or "draperie de decollete", was the most lavish of these chokers tumbling decorative drops enticingly downward from the choker. This beautiful necklace has decoration which is 2-5/8" deep across a full 7-1/2" of decoration with a lobster clasp. Fifteen pink faceted rhinestone and clear faceted crystal dangles hang in a double layer of lacey triangular metal motifs, the top layer studded with varying sizes of quality pink roundstones and the bottom layer sporting huge 9MM dentelle cut clear rhinestones. The metal is textured and antiqued silvertone. Matching faux half carat size pink rhinestone stud earrings for pierced ears complete this splendid set. Click here to see another view.
