One of the more detailed and colorful decanters is this "Spirit of 1776" Decanter issued for the 200th Anniversary of our independence. Three intense figures striding through the thickening smoke and confusion of battle, their flag, fife and drum showing the way to their comrades in arms. Carrying their banner foward until it can fly over a f ree and independent nation. Great deail in each of these three figures. The artist, Archibald MacNeal Willard, grew up steeped in his countrys history. An ancestor had been among the founders of Concord, Massachusetts, where the Spirt of '76 was early felt. Musical box which plays Yankee Doodle Dandy. This is a wonderful decanter that comes with it's original box and foam liner. No liquor.
