Vintage torsade necklace consists of twelve gorgeous strands of vintage Austrian crystal, gold tone chain and bronze and iridescent black glass beads from the 1920s and 30s with an Art Deco styled fancy clasp that was made in the 1960s. The necklace is new old store stock from an upscale boutique that closed in the 1960s in one of the most exclusive shopping areas off Michigan Avenue in Chicago. The necklace measures approximately 16-1/4" and can be worn twisted or with the strands hanging straight down. In Near Mint, never worn, condition, this lavish torsade is an impressive piece of costume jewelry that will make a high fashion statement.
