One of the most rare of all Christmas tree pins we have ever come across, this stunning tree came from the estate of a jewelry collector who passed away in 1960. It is made like precious jewelry of sterling silver with a beautiful and realistically colored gold plating. The color and texture of the tree itself is finely rendered and the rhinestone ornaments are all prong set. The old, hand-cut rhinestones are pink, amethyst, turquoise, aqua, teal, emerald green and clear crystal faceted stones with lots of life and sparkle. The tree measures approximately 2 x 2" and has a safety closure. It is marked "STERLING" on a rectangular signature cartouche on the reverse of the pin. It is in Excellent Condition.
