Another of our Francesca dolls -- this pretty lady is a French Normandy Shepperdess with her peasant costume, staff and small porcelain sheep which I had on her wrist, but should have been at her feet for the photograph. Porcelain head, breast plate, arms and legs. This is La Collezione Della Pace.
After completing the research and design for each character, live models are used to create the original piece of sculpture for Francesca dolls. Each piece is individually processed using casting and firing techniques in their own ceramic studios. The uniqueness and orginality of each piece is maintained by the body design, authentic costume design and individual painting. These are fine collector pieces.
