Vintage Coro owl fur clip is part of a Coro Duette. It has large oval topaz colored rhinestone eyes and clear rhinestone accented, head, wings and feet. This intelligent fellow measures approximately 1-7/8 x 7/8" and has a two pronged fur clip. The metal is in Excellent Condition with the reverse looking almost brand new. We would rate the enamel as Very Good and although the large oval rhinestones that are the eyes look Excellent on the reverse, looking into them with a loupe does reveal some darkening and disintegration. This vintage Coro owl clip is probably sterling with a gold wash, but it is unsigned as to the metal content as well as the manufacturer although we know that it is unmistakenly a Coro clip. A wonderful find to wear or to combine with another owl clip and Duette mechanism to put together a much-sought-after Coro Duette. Price includes domestic UPS Ground shipping.
