Item Description:
Lovely antique sterling silver brooch features an openwork style classic design 1-3/4" in diameter. A wonderful pin for that suit or jacket lapel. The hallmark is not familiar to me. It has 5 sections in a rectangle. Sections each contain 925, crossed swords?, heart?, boat and the number 17. This is all worn so difficult to tell. Above the rectangle there is another mark in a circle maybe an entertwined "R". Older c-clasp. What fun someone will have researching this hallmark !
