This a beautiful and unusual bracelet. It is hand-strung, 8" in length, and consists of (6) black Venetian, 7/8" diameter art glass beads. Each large bead is in a flattened shape , approximate 1/2" in depth, rather than being totally round, and is framed at each end by a smaller Venetian art glass bead. Each bead has a wonderful brass filigree cap and all of the glass pieces have variations of blue to lavendar flecking along with a copper fleck accent. This piece dates 1930-1940's. The bracelet has a jump ring and spring clasp connection and measures 8"in length. Please note that while 8" seems long, a lot of the space is taken up around the wrist by the size of the beads which are 1/2" in depth. This is a wonderful bracelet with fabulous vintage art glass beads. Each bead is in wonderful condition with the brass having a beautiful patina. This is a beautiful transitional piece...looking great from day to evening, from jeans to sweater. What a great gift for a bead collector!
