Item Description:
Well, not only is this in a gorgeous pink, it's also in perfect condition. To top it off, the only piece of the Parure that's missing is the brooch (if one was even made for the set?). I have never seen anything other than the bracelet in print, which indicated just how rare this set is.
It was manufactured in the 1950's and designed by Andre Fleuridas. All the pieces are marked Mazer Bros. The earrings are clips. The necklace is roughly 16 inches (a little more with the rigid V shaped center), and the bracelet is 6-3/4 inch. As the reference guides say, these pieces compete next to real gemstones without a problem. The workmanship was of such high quality for costume jewelry, it is no wonder they were only able to stay in business for twenty years. I am thrilled to be able to offer you such a stupendous set. One of my price guides makes the comment that these bracelets (with a book value alone of over $500) are rare to find in any color other than clear stones, and even rarer to find them in good condition. It won't get any better than this! Estimated book value $2000.
Note: To add insurance on this package, please add $1.90 per each $50 of coverage. International shipping charge is $8.35.
