Item Description: |
Very nice sampler done with dark brown thread on coarse homespun linen, no date but appears very early 19th century, possibly earlier. Contains alphabet, numbers and reads "Phoebe Barrett on Board Ship" also "James F Trott and Walter Ichabod Collins". Linen has discolored slightly with age; one very small spot of thread loss. Found in New England. Free domestic shipping. |
