After the Etruscan jewelry of the 8th and 7th Century AD, this stunning Mid 20th Century pin mimics the ancient metalworking expertise of the Etruscans. This costume jewelry pin illustrates the ornate filigree, beading and granulation techniques popular in ancient jewelry. The pin measures approximately 3 x 1-1/4" and has a safety closure. It is signed, "Etruscean" very faintly on the reverse of the pin. In Very Good/Excellent Condition, we think the metal finish on the pin was supposed to be antiqued and reflect the look of an aged high karat content piece of buried treasure from an archaeological dig and it really does!
