| Vintage Coro doorknocker brooch has a moveable knocker and features regal ruby, sapphire and emerald colored rhinestones offset by simulated turquoise cabochons and clear rhinestones in mat gold tone metal. It measures approximately 2-3/4 x 1-1/2" and has a safety closure. It is signed, "Coro" in script on the reverse of the pin and is in Excellent Condition. Although the design patent has not yet been located by vintage costume jewelry researchers and collectors, we can closely approximate the date of this pin as probably between 1948 and 1954. This is an incredible book piece in remarkable condition and represents some of the best work of Coro at the height the Golden Age of American costume jewelry.
