Item Description:
Early crystal bead necklace features intensely faceted crystal beads strung on silver chain. The necklace measures approximately 18-1/2” and has a spring ring closure that is gold filled, but we do not believe is original to the necklace. These necklaces were generally strung on sterling silver chain, so we think the original spring ring has been replaced. The necklace is in Excellent Condition and dates to the turn of the century. There is a stark difference between these early crystals and the later ones in terms of weight, size and the number of facets per bead. This strand is just lovely.
