These are vintage sterling and malachite earrings and are signed Mexico Sterling on the back as well as the assay indication TS-10. Size on these is about 1-1/8" long and they are clip on style. Note: Malachite is closely related to Azurite and both are copper based. Ancient Egyptians used malachite in jewelry and amulets to ward off evil spirits. |
