Another of the more popular Storybook Series doll -- "When She Was Good She Was Very Very Good." This is an early bisque doll with her box. The Nancy Ann Storybook Company was founded by Nancy Ann Abbot in 1936. Bisque dolls were the first to be made. Later, in the '40s, they were made of hard plastic. They came in sizes 3 1/2" to 7". The most popular was the "Storybook" series. They also made "Nursery Rhymes", "Family Series", "American Girl", "Bridal Series", "Seasons Series, "Dolls of the Month", and many more.
