Native American style costume jewelry necklace features a large, round Aztec inspired pendant and simulated niello (darkening of the lower surfaces) design in silver tone metal. The chain section of the necklace features openwork sections with Native American feather headdress designs. The necklace is adjustable from 16 to 19" with a fish hook closure and extender chain. The pendant measures approximately 2-1/2" round. The necklace, itself, is in Excellent Condition, but the plating on the oval ending of the extender chain has a large worn spot and two of the connectors between the sections on the necklace have plating wear. Despite these minimal problems, we feel this is an exceptionally styled vintage necklace. This necklace has important scale and is well-designed with an Aztec / Native American flavor that make it a striking fashion accessory for lots of different looks.
