Most original are these Old Cottage Toy Company Dolls -- "Bridesmaid" with a hard plastic head, jointed arms and legs. Lace dress with rose bud ribbon low and a floral wreath in her hair. Bouquet in her hands, white shoes, pantaloons and stockings. Hand painted face and blond hair. Hand made in Great Britain. Margaret and Susi Fleischmann came to live in Rustington, Sussex, England, from their homeland of Czechoslovakia in 1939 and started their doll making business named Old Cottage Toys.
