Understandably one of the most rare signatures in vintage costume jewelry, the Staret signature was only used from 1940 to 1947. This manufacturer was known to have made the finest costume jewelry for the famed Eisenberg Jewelry Company. This incredibly beautiful bow pin is an even greater rarity as its design is also not a typical Staret or Eisenberg 1940s bow pin design. In fact, we have never seen another like it. It is remarkable in that it is completely fashioned of ALL old, hand-cut, icy, crystal faceted rhinestones in various sizes of SQUARE shaped cuts. It measures a whopping 3-3/4 x 1-7/8" and is signed "STARET" in the typical fashion in a rectangular signature plaque impressed into the reverse of the cast metal design. It is in the most immaculate original condition of these types of pins we have seen and is what we are tempted to call "Collector's Quality".
