Item Description:
Vintage Trifari parure consists of a necklace, bracelet and drop clip earrings. This set is made of Trifanium, a special rhodium plate process invented by Trifari to make the metal scratch and abrasion resistant as well as retain its beautiful plating. This set features a fabulous and distinctive design which makes it a standout among vintage Trifari designs IMHO. It is composed of V sections that are lined with beautiful sparkling clear rhinestone baguettes. The necklace is adjustable to 16 x 5/8" with an extender chain and fish hook closure. The bracelet measures approximately 7 x 5/8" and has a foldover clasp. The clip earrings measure approximately 2 x 5/8". The bracelet is signed "Trifari" "Pat. Pending" and the earrings are signed "Trifari" on each clip in block letters. We could not find a signature on the necklace although it is clearly a perfect match. The set is in Excellent Condition and dates Ca. 1950, probably between 1947 and 1953. We think this is a distinctively beautiful and well-designed set among vintage Trifari sets and a marvelous example of the beauty, quality and artistry of vintage Trifari jewelry.
