Wedgwood Cameo: Eros Cupid Wedgwood Cameo Brooch Pendant

Wedgwood cameo depicting a seated Eros or Cupid with two women or possibly Muses trying to take away his arrow.  In beautiful Wedgwood blue ground with white raised figures, this detailed Wedgwood cameo measures approximately 1-1/2" round and has a pin stem as well as a bale of approximately 4MM.  We believe the bezel and findings are hand-crafted and are sterling silver although they are not marked as such.  The pin is in Very Good/Excellent Condition with a shallow chip on the edge of the reverse of the pin where we have indicated, possibly done at the time the bezel and pin stem were added to the piece.  This does not compromise the look of the cameo at all when worn.   The Wedgwood cameo is dated 1951 on the reverse of the piece beneath the spot where there is the Wedgwood signature.  A beautiful Wedgwood cameo with a three figure scene incorporating Eros, the Greek God of love, that will make a charming addition to your cameo collection as well as your wardrobe.  (#30983-WedgwoodCameo3FigureEros)
