From the Babes of the Moor Series, this is the "Bay Berry" porcelain doll by Francesca of Florida. This doll is dressed in a velvet cape and large hood and a floral print dress. Long auburn pigtails. Great character face as do all Francesca dolls. Porcelain head, breast plate, arms and legs. Hand painted.
After completing the research and design for each character, live models are used to create the original piece of sculpture for Francesca dolls. Each piece is individually processed using casting and firing techniques in their own ceramic studios. The uniqueness and orginality of each piece is maintained by the body design, authentic costume design and individual painting. These are fine collector pieces.
