Danbury Mint "Morton Salt Umbrella Girl" porcelain doll.
This unique doll was sculpted by artist Nancy Leslie and issued by the Danbury Mint to carefully recreate the Morton Salt box of 1968. This doll is wearing a yellow dress with white flounce collar & white slip. The dress has 4 white buttons in the back; the slip has a snap closure. Her white & yellow bloomers are trimmed in yellow ribbon and white lace. The outfit is complete with white leather shoes & yellow socks.
Her yellow & navy blue umbrella is 14" long & 18" wide when opened, however, at the moment the umbrella won't stay open. It could be repaired but I am discounting the doll because of the umbrella. The Morton Salt container is 4" tall & is in good condition.
The doll has blue eyes, a porcelain face, chest plate, legs & arms with a cloth body.
The doll itself is mint in the box with stand and hand tag. The box has some red marks on the side, but no damage.
