We have twelve gorgeous (12) Hutschenreuther Encrusted Gold Charger Plates made in Selb, Bavaria. When set upon your table the brilliance of the gold reflection is breathtaking and will totally captivate your dinner guests. We believe these plates to be from the 1930's. According to our consignor they were a gift to Jack Warner, Jr. when he married in the 1950's. As illustrated in the photo's we have: Four (4) Hutschenreuther Encrusted Gold Charger plates with dark maroon "V" decoration. Four (4) Hutschenreuther Encrusted Gold Charger plates with scroll and slight pink decoration. Three (4) Hutschenreuther Encrusted Gold Charger plates with Midnight Blue Crest. One (1) Hutschenreuther Encrusted Solid Gold Outer Ring Charger plate with Floral Urn Design. Mixing these charger plates on your table just adds to the total decorative effect. The plates are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. There is an occasionally gold fleck missing from the center ring area as a result of some stacking over the years without cloth seperation. This is very minor and hardly noticeable. Twelve (12) very rare plates for a total of $895 or $75 per plate. We have seen similar plates sell for well over $100 each. |
