Hand Painted Russian Nesting Dolls entitled "The Scarlet Flower". Russian city is Simbirsk and artist is Kolia Boolaukin.
Five nests inside with women at various social functions for a total of six pieces.
Very colorful and again each is in a high gloss lacquer finish.
All pieces are in excellent condition and are from an estate which also included Russian Lacquer Boxes and Russian Santa's. Any spots you see are reflections from the lighting and not imperfections.
The original cost of this set of Nesting dolls wa $295 in 1999.
