Item Description:
This is a beautiful estate necklace featuring large ivory beads (approx 15mm) accented withheavy gold filled caps and tiger eye. It measures 20". The necklace culminates in a 2" pendant with a beautiful scrimshaw portrait. Signed 'SUT" ? All of the beads are knotted in between and this does need a clasp replacement or repair. The clasp was ivory and one side has become unattached and lost. All of the other beads are present so only a new clasp needs to be added. This is a beautiful piece of artwork as well as ornamentation. If anyone has information on the artist, please let me know and I will make it a part of this description.
