Another fine vintage commutative item brought to you by All That Glitters in Beautiful Bridgeport, Connecticut, a Sadler teapot commemorating the Duke of Wellington and the British soldiers that fought the Battle of Waterloo. This is a very special item. The bottom is stamped thusly: "SADLER 4441 REG. DESIGN NO. 2010605 STAFFORDSHIRE ENGLAND THE DUKE OF WELLINGTON& SOLDIERS OF THE BATTLE OF WATERLOO." The outside of the teapot is decorated with the images of the Duke of Wellington, the Sergeant of the Coldstream guards, a Private of the Black Watch Regiment, a Captain of the 3rd Foot Guards, and a Sergeant of the 3rd Foot Guards. The lid shows scenes of battle and the legend "The Battle of Waterloo 1845." The whole thing is in excellent condition, no chips and no cracks. The original catalogue tag with customer satisfaction survey is included. |
