A wonderful rare find, this whimsical creature is signed, "Sterling", but we are unable to find the Reja signature that should be there. Clearly a Reja design confirmed by the fact that it is set in sterling vermeil, the huge pear-shaped aqua faceted stone "belly", is a chunk of glorious hand-cut crystal with a clear crystal paved "thorax" and red faceted stones for the eyes. The open cutwork wings are a testament to quality execution. The pin measures approximately 2" X 2" and has a safety closure. It is in Excellent Condition. Understandably, the gold wash is slightly thinner on the front than on the reverse. You will be thrilled to add this gorgeous piece to your collection and your wardrobe.
