Item Description:
Vintage scarab bracelet with miniature scarabs of simulated semi-precious stones such as Lapis, onyx, jad, turquoise, pink quartz and carnelian bezel set in goldtone metal. The scarabs have hieroglyphs on their open reverse sides. The bracelet measures approximately 7-1/4 x 5/8" and has a safety chain and foldover clasp. It dates Ca. 1950 and is in Excellent Condition. Ancient Egyptian legend has it that the number of scarabs one wears during this lifetime will signify the number of servants one will have in the hereafter.
