| Ancient Egyptian legend has it that the number of scarabs one wears during this lifetime will signify the number of servants one will have in the hereafter. So, in the 1950s and 60s, women would wear multiple scarab bracelets up and down their arms! :) This vintage scarab bracelet has glass scarabs of simulated semi-precious stones such as Lapis, onyx, jade, pink quartz and carnelian bezel set in goldtone metal. The scarabs have hieroglyphs on their open reverse sides as well so they look quite authentic. The bracelet measures approximately 7-1/4 x 9/16" and has a safety chain and spring ring clasp.
