Appraiser Comments:
"The artwork which you have submitted for appraisal appears to be an original charcoal and white chalk drawing on paper that is hand-signed by the contemporary artist Wade Reynolds (1929-) United States. The artist is noted as a painter and as a designer whose style is for the most part realistic. He has rendered figure and landscape paintings and drawings but is most known for his figure and portrait artwork. The artwork that you possess may have been a preparatory sketch for a more detailed artwork by the artist. This may be the reason for the hand that is drawn on the upper-right portion of the drawing. This is a sort of note to the artist to remember something for a later painting."
Replacement Cost: $600.
