Vintage "Fiddling Boy" pin is an enchanting image of a little boy with his fiddle that will tug at your heartstrings. This pin is attributed to Silson via patent number 126,405 dated April 8, 1941 issued to designer William Regelmann. It is pictured on page 185 of Tribute to America by Carla and Roberto Brunialti in the enamel version. A masterful image and execution, the bow is three-dimensional and attached from the reverse side as you can see from the reverse picture of the pin. It measures approximately 3 x 2-1/8" and has a safety closure. It is in Very Good/Excellent Condition with a very small amount of plating wearing thin at the high spot of the cheek which is barely noticeable and which we mention for the sake of full disclosure. Otherwise, although there is a patina, we feel this pin is in remarkably Excellent Condition. A very important collector's piece for serious lovers and students of vintage costume jewelry as well as music lovers! (#25364-SilsonFiddlingBoyRegelmannPinVintage)
