Mexican sterling silver and abalone shell butterfly pin is an especially nice and large one. It is beautifully crafted and measures approximately 2-1/2 x 2-1/4" and has a safety closure. It is signed ECF with "Hecho En Mexico .925" in a circle around the initials and has a 3 eagle stamp which dates it between 1948 and 1980. In Excellent Condition, there is some tiny bending of the antennae which is the usual condition of these pieces and not so much that it affects the look.
