Native American Zuni spinner by the Natachu family, one of the finest names in Native American Zuni jewelry art, features reversible images of the Sun Face or Zuni Great Spirit and the Rainbow Man Warriors who were said to be hidden deep within the sacred Zuni mountain in the Manataka or Place of Peace to avoid capture. This incredible and intricate work of Native American art is inlaid with genuine red coral, Acoma black jet, robin's egg blue turquoise and malachite. This beautiful reversible pendant measures approximately 1-3/4 long, including the bale and 1-1/4" wide. The reversible central spinner is approximately 1". The piece is signed Natachu and .925 and "STERLING" and has an additional signature that looks like P & P, so we are attributing this piece to Peter and Phansy Natachu. This is a museum quality piece of Native American Zuni jewelry for serious collectors who will recognize the excellent quality of the workmanship and the Native American artistic history this piece represents.
