Nice European early 1900's Bronze bust of Dante Alighieri, author of the Divine Comedy: Inferno, Purgatorio, and Paradiso.
This bust is in excellent condition.
The base of this bust had old felt covering which we removed, but still couldn't find any dates or markings. The bust weighs 5 pounds and measures 9 inches wide, 7 1/2 inches high and 4 inches deep. Excellent detail and old great patina.
Normally these busts sell for much higher prices that have this detail, but we are pricing this at a very reasonable $595.
See below for more information on Dante Alighieri from Wikipedia.
