Hand Painted and Signed Russian Nesting Dolls with "Children Holding Kittens".
Four nests inside smiling girl with kitten. Other children holding kitten, a bird and then a very small child.
Very colorful and each is in a high gloss lacquer finish.
The name on the base of each doll is: 1) Cbemouka, 2) Bepywa, 3) Anewa, 4) Upuukd, 5) Neha. (Subject to translation).
All pieces are in excellent condition and are from an estate which also included Russian Lacquer Boxes and Russian Santa's. Any spots you see are reflections from the light and not imperfections.
The original cost of this set of Nesting dolls was $465 in 2001.
