Porcelain bisque "Lladro Collector's Society" (LCS) plaque is a very collectible piece. Released as a plaque for Charter Members to the LCS for one year only in 1985. (Placa Sociedad Colecccionistas). It was available until 1999 and then it was retired. Most dealers in Lladro's displayed this plaque as a proud LLadro dealer.
The bas relief was taken from the 1969 Lladro figure sculpted by Salvador Furio, showing Don Quixote de la Mancha sitting in a chair-- his left hand resting in the pages of a book, and his right hand still clinging to a sword which is now at rest on the floor. The names of the three Lladro brothers, Juan, Jose and Victor are in the front of the plaque as signatures. The back of the plaque in somewhat convex and is in the shape of a shell.
This plaque is in excellent condition.
