One of the most intricate Llado Figurines I have ever had the privilege to carry -- "Baby's Outing" Figurine # 4938.
Mother is hushing her baby with her index finger of her right hand and holding her left hand in a "calm down" manner.
From my count it appears there were fifteen (15) different molds used to make this figurine. Then they each had to be hand assembled, smoothed and fired. Then painted and fired again and finally the high gloss coat. Now that's a lot of skill and effort. Year Issued: 1976. Year Retired: 2000. Figure is Glazed.
I believe this figure retailed for over $700 dollars during it long offering period and is still on some sites for $900. Many others have it around $500. Mint with no damage of any kind.
The sculptor was Salvador Debon.
