Victorian cameo depicts a beautiful woman with upswept hair in the Gibson Girl style in intricate detail that is so delicately carved that you can see her pearls. This exquisite antique cameo measures a generous 1-7/8 x 1-1/2" and has a safety closure as well as a swing bail to allow you to wear it as a pendant to give you lots of wearing options. The generous bail will accommodate approximately 3MM in thickness in your choice of cables, cords, ribbons or chains. This cameo dates Ca. 1903 and is marked "800" on the reverse for silver and it's lacey filigree bezel is plated in yellow gold. This is a wonderful antique Victorian cameo in Excellent Condition that features a unique hand carving of a beautiful woman of the period.
