Very unusual Lladro "Tall Chinese" Man Porcelain Matte or Gres Figurine # 2056.
Body is matte (gres) finish and head dress is glazed.
Body and robe is a dark gray, beard and hair are a whitish grey and head dress is a glazed two-tone green. (I like it.)
Jose Roig was the sculptor and this piece was produced from 1974 to present. Presently suggested retail is $175 at Lladro dealers. Lladro also has a sitting Chinese man # 2057, but I like this piece much better.
Measures 7 3/4 inches in height and 3 inches wide and 3 1/4 inches deep. Weighs one pound and four ounces without box.
