Very intricate and hard to find is this Ladro "Laziness" Porcelain Figurine #4925.
Sheperd awakening from his nap and under a rather stern look from his mother. Great detail with his dog, the boy, his hat and cane and mother with her hands on her hips.
Jose Roig was the sculptor and the piece was produced from 1974 to 1980. Last retail way back in 1980 (31 years ago) was $235. On web sites up to 500.
The figurine is glazed and measures 9 3/4 inches in height, 8 1/2 inches wide and 7 inches deep. The piece weights almost 4 pounds.
This exquisite porcelain figurine is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, repair or crazing. No box.
